A few updates!
I love it when everything goes to plan, and for everything that’s been going… not so good for us, atleast the site updates are going well.
Forums – The Forums are currently enjoying the first of the Forumverse Coffee Room events, where the ever unfortunate SAAM has been possessed and subsequently discarded by an almost godlike digital entity called The Virus. As UJvians we must stop him!
Not only that but CALVINBALL has been restarted by yours truly. Prepare to get your ball grabbed!
Website – Since the release of Internet Explorer 8, once again the website has been a little of kilter. However I was unaware of this until today when I attempted to add some stuff. So I fiddled around and finally got a version that works on Firefox, Internet Explorer 7 and under and Internet Explorer 8. It’s finally working on all platforms!
Today I also added two banners for our allies, Parker Comics and Wibbly Press. For a long time now we’ve been friends with Nikose and Parker Comics, now that the site is back up and running and the comic Eclipse Saga is back up, I highly recommend checking it out!
Since Supanova this year, we have been in on again off again contact with a group called Wibbly Press, as of lae we are determined to make this alliance work, and are discussing terms for a partial merger of the sites. I cannot confirm anything at the moment, but you will hear it here first!
Blogs – You may remember a while back we had links for UJ accounts on MySpace and Live Journal. These became more than we were able to handle, what with also updating Onlinecomics.net, however what with the way Facebook and Twitter work, we are able to update here, which can in time automatically update the Facebook page, which will in turn automatically update the Twitter page. It’s also a great place to network and get more interest in all our sites.
Things are moving forward, this is a great day for all of us!
Comics – It’s been a long time coming but like I promised, once Halloween came and went we’ve been getting back to the comics, even though all the strife, we’re starting once again and we intend to push forward on these comics. Don’t get your hopes up yet but we have a plan that we will start to implement over the next year , that may allow us by the end of Chapter Four of Ultima-Java History, we could be producing an entire 23 page chapter, plus cover, every month!
No seriously.
1 comic page, 6 days per week, for four weeks, resulting in an entire chapter being produced in a standard month. We won’t go into details now, but this is our aim, this is what we are hoping to achive in the next year. I hope you all stay with us for that and continue on this journey with us!
