Hi, one and all, and welcome back to the first PlagueDoc Review in … well, it’s been a while. Let’s call it a month and leave it at that. Now, a while ago, asked for thoughts on what I could review after ALoK, and among the suggestions was the latest series of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now, aside from a single clip involving a tentacled cat monster, I’d seen nothing of the latest series. I’d actually avoided it because I thought they’d try and make it too cute or watered-down to be entertaining.

Oh, how wrong I was.

First of all, my apologies for the lateness of this post. However, between battery failures, my hard drive having a fit of clicks, Chrome having a tantrum and network speeds from 1999, I did what I could in getting this up.

Anyway, here it is. The last review for the Legend of Korra series. With University heating up and a wealth of other series to choose from, I may or may not take a break for a couple of weeks to get some assignments out of the way and decide what series I’m going to review next.

If anybody has any suggestions for series to watch, animated or otherwise, feel free to leave a comment on the Forum, or on Facebook.

I seem to recall saying something about an epic double-length review last time. Unfortunately, University has a way of getting in the way of such things, and so I have decided to write my review of the last two episodes in two parts, as opposed to reviewing it as a single, double-length episode the way it was originally aired.

Welcome everyone to yet another Korra review, of the penultimate episode of the series, Turning the Tides. The last episode left us with Korra barely conscious after being kidnapped by Tarlokk and left out in the snow following her escape. In this episode, Amon’s plans for the city finally come to fruition and the Equalist takeover begins in earnest.

So it’s Tuesday. Sorry guys. The comic didn’t go up yesterday as Andy and I had some things to take care of which kept us busy, but it’s still very late today because I’ve been massively derailed by distractions and lack of motivation. Sometimes we have sucky days, so I hope I can still win you over with a late strip.
